VatOptimizer

The first project to be started in our offshore development center in Bulgaria was the PwC VatOptimizer. From starting with a waterfall management approach in 2005, the development process shifted towards an agile development process in 2006. The best progress was made towards the end of the project in 2007, when we shifted towards a full agile development approach with Extreme Programming, including pair programming. During this phase, we also started testing the software in our development center in Vietnam. Mid 2007, the project was completed.

The project involved connections to 3rd party SAP systems, automated VAT filing at the dutch tax authorities, VAT analysis and other functionality.
